About Choir Auditions
Rehearsals - Thursdays from 7–8:30 PM
Sunday Call - 9 AM for a 10 AM service
Pay - $85 per rehearsal and service, with extra pay for Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter
Opportunities - Frequent chances to perform solos

What We’re Looking For
We seek individuals with prior choral experience, strong score reading abilities, and reliability. The choir audition process is simple, resembling a private vocal warmup followed by sight-reading a hymn. We encourage dedicated singers who can commit to a year-round schedule or from September to May.
Special Performances and Professional Development
Through dedicated rehearsals, the choir regularly prepares for special services, including Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter. While no formal workshops or masterclasses exist, the frequent solo opportunities provide a platform for individual growth and exposure.
Community Atmosphere
The Saint James choir prides itself on a friendly and inclusive atmosphere. Members are asked to pay attention, participate actively, and contribute to the collective sound during rehearsals and services.
