Isaac Hill, Church Choir

Isaac Hill brings both vocal talent and instrumental expertise to Saint James Episcopal Church as a bass in our choir. Originally from Chapin, SC, Isaac studied at the Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities in Greenville before pursuing his musical journey at the College of Charleston, where he now studies cello performance, composition, and linguistics.

Drawn to Saint James in January 2023 by its blend of traditional Episcopal music and inclusive community, Isaac particularly enjoys performing Renaissance pieces, with Thomas Tallis's "If Ye Love Me" among his favorite works. His Presbyterian background fostered an early appreciation for sacred music, reflected in his fondness for the hymn "O Sacred Head Sore Wounded."

A junior at College of Charleston, Isaac values the fellowship found in choir and enjoys connecting with both choir members and the congregation. His dedication to musical arts and appreciation for sacred traditions enriches our music ministry each Sunday.
