Formed in 1998, Ann Caldwell and the Magnolia Singers perform Gullah spirituals and stories indigenous to the South Carolina Lowcountry. The group performed for Nobel Peace Prize winner, Toni Morrison, Emmy-award winner, Phylicia Rashad, Charleston Mayor Joe Riley, nationally acclaimed artist Jonathan Green and actor Isaiah Washington, and have appeared on the Toda11 Snow and Good Morning Amerieti.
