Stocking Drive for Lowcountry Orphan Relief

Support local children through Saint James Episcopal Church stocking drive for Lowcountry Orphan Relief!

Saint James Episcopal Church invites you to participate in our Stocking Drive supporting Lowcountry Orphan Relief. This initiative helps stock shelves with essential items needed for Care Kits throughout the entire year.

How the Stocking Drive Works

The drive focuses on collecting new items that directly benefit children in need across the Charleston area. Each Care Kit is designed to support a child for up to three months, providing them with essential clothing and personal care items.

What to Donate

We welcome new items including:

  • Shirts and pants

  • School uniforms

  • Dresses

  • Shoes and socks

  • New underwear

  • Backpacks

  • Pajamas

  • Winter coats

  • Books

  • New toiletries

  • School supplies

  • Plush stuffed toys

Important Guidelines

To ensure your donations can be used effectively:

  • All items must be new

  • Please do not gift wrap items

  • Avoid holiday-themed clothing (except pajamas)

  • No gift cards, toys, or games

  • No used undergarments

  • No bedding or baby equipment

Making Your Donation Count

When selecting items, remember that Care Kits serve children for several months. While we provide sizing suggestions, these are guidelines to help us serve all age groups effectively. You're welcome to donate any quantity - whether it's a single item or multiple items from the list.
